Booking Policy

Scheduling & Appointment Preparation

Location: The exact address will be shared 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment. Please use the Neighborhood Walmart on Clifdale as a reference point for travel.

Arrival Time: Clients should arrive promptly. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late are considered cancellations to respect other clients’ time.

Guests: Please come alone to your appointment, as my space is limited.

Comfort: Wear comfortable clothing, as certain services can last over two hours.

Pre-Appointment Communication: Please address any questions or concerns before your appointment time.

Kiddie Appointments: When booking a kiddie appointment, an adult over 18 years old must remain present throughout the entire appointment.
Design Inspiration & Service Details

Design Inspiration Required: Clients must provide a design inspiration when booking. Failure to do so may result in the appointment not being approved.

Changes to Design: Any changes to your requested design must be communicated in advance, as certain materials may need to be ordered.

Technician’s Discretion: For services designated as “Artist’s Choice,” the technician will select the final design, shape, and length to ensure a cohesive, polished look.
Payment Policy

Accepted Methods: Accepted Methods: We accept cash, major credit cards, and Afterpay.

Clients using credit cards or Afterpay are responsible for any processing fees on their remaining balance. Fees do not apply if the remaining balance is paid by cash. Please ask about applicable fees when making your payment.

Timing: The remaining balance is due after completion of your service.

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the service price is required to book all appointments (new & regular clients).
Cancellation & No Show Policy

24-Hour Advance Notice: Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment incur no penalty.

Last-Minute Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will result in the deposit being forfeited.

No-Show: Failing to appear without notice will be noted as a “no-call/no-show.” Multiple no-call/no-shows may lead to being blocked from booking future services.
Refund Policy

No Refunds: All services are provided under a strict no-refund policy.

Non-Refundable Deposit: Deposits are non-refundable, except if services are canceled due to inclement weather or by Hart of Nails.

72-Hour Grace Period: If you have any concerns about your service, contact us within 72 hours for an assessment and potential adjustments.
Fill-Ins & Rebalance

Recommended Schedule: Plan to have your fill-in every 3–4 weeks.

Rebalance Fee: If your nails show significant growth or require extensive work, you will be charged a rebalance fee rather than a standard fill-in fee.
Photography & Media Release (Optional)

We may take photographs of your nails during or after the service. By booking, you agree that we can use these images in our portfolio or on social media. If you do not consent, please inform us beforehand.
